Legal information for people who are incarcerated

CLEO has created a database of legal information and resources to help community workers support people involved with the criminal legal system in navigating common legal problems.

The database has information for:

  • people who have come into contact with police
  • people who are incarcerated
  • people who have been or will soon be released
  • family and friends of people involved with the criminal legal system
  • community workers who support incarcerated people

You can search the database in two ways:

  1. To search the database, select the “Search Resources” tab or button and enter a keyword. You can also filter the resources by selecting “Advanced search” and then click the “Apply” button.
  2. Scroll down to “Information for people who are incarcerated” and choose a legal topic.
